Hoh Rainforest Visitor Center. 1 minute From the parking lot, a flat concrete sidewalk leads to a concrete patio around the visitor center. Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center

Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center is staffed daily during the summer. Memorial Day - mid September:  10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Spring and Fall: Open daily 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Building closes in mid October until winter season begins in late November. April and November are shoulder season months when the visitor center is closed and unstaffed. Winter: Open Fridays through Sundays (plus some holidays) depending on weather and road conditions.

Kalaloch Ranger Station. 2 minutes A brown and white wooden sign along the road reads, Kalaloch Ranger Station. The National Park Service arrowhead logo is attached to the sign. The single story rectangular gray wooden building with a gray metal roof faces the parking lot. A brown sign with white text is attached to the front of the building on the right and reads, Information. Beneath this is the National Park Service arrowhead logo. The recessed entryway is between the sign and arrowhead on the right and a large window on the left. The blue front door with a large window is at the right edge of the recessed section. To the left, a sign hangs on the wall with either the word Open or Closed, and below, a box on the wall holds park brochures and other information. In the left corner of the recessed entryway atop a round wooden pedestal is a white whale skull which you may touch. An interpretive panel behind the skull reads, A Whale of a Trip. In one of the longest known annual migrations of any mammal, gray whales travel over 10,000 miles roundtrip between their Baja winter breeding grounds and Arctic summer feeding grounds. A few hundred whales shorten this migration and summer in shallow coastal waters in the Pacific Northwest. March through may are prime times to view spouting gray whales off the Olympic coast. A whale can weigh 20 to 35 tons and reach 45 feet in length, bigger than a school bus. In a lifetime, a gray whale can swim farther than the distance to the moon and back. Inside the Ranger Station are restrooms, an information desk, and a small bookstore.

Kalaloch Ranger Station is open daily during the summer and closed the rest of the year. Educational exhibits, informational brochures, a small sales area, and restrooms are available.

Kalaloch Ranger Station

Small ranger station located two miles from Rialto Beach. Mora Campground nearby. Ranger Station is closed during winter. Open intermittently during the summer. Park maps and informational brochures available.

This is the main Visitor Center and Wilderness Information Center for Olympic National Park. Park staff are available daily at the visitor center, and by phone (360-565-3130) or email. Restrooms are available during the day.

Ozette Ranger Station. 2 minutes Along the road is a brown sign with white text and the National Park Service arrowhead logo that reads, Lake Ozette Ranger Station. Olympic National Park. A right pointing arrow indicates the direction of the parking area. The back of the ranger station faces the road. It is a rectangular, one-story, light gray building with a brown metal roof and four windows on the back side. Split rail fencing edges the perimeter of a backyard area and a path leading to the front of the station. From the parking lot, another trail leads to the front of the ranger station and two other buildings. On the right is a structure with interpretive panels. Straight ahead is a building with restrooms. The ranger station is on the left behind a split rail fence. An opening in the fence provides access across a grass yard. A brown and white sign attached to the building reads, Ozette Ranger Station. The National Park Service arrowhead logo is above the sign. There are four windows across the front of the station and two entrance doors each with steps and a landing. Attached to the building near the door on the right is a sign that reads, Permits and Information. Below the sign is a bulletin board with park information about tides, backcountry food storage, Leave No Trace ethics, and wildlife. To the left of the board is a brown lidded box with permit payment envelopes and to the left of this box is a tall metal cannister for depositing payment envelopes.

Quinault Ranger Station. 2 minutes A brown and white sign along the roadway reads, Quinault River Ranger Station. Olympic National Park. Visitor Center and Nature Trail. The National Park Service arrowhead logo is attached to the sign on the right. The entrance road loops around a central grassy area past the Ranger Station on the right to a parking area on the opposite side. Concrete parking bumpers edge the front of each parking spot. A concrete sidewalk rings the perimeter of the parking lot, then grass, then the forest. At the far left end of the parking lot is a bulletin board with posted park regulations, information about wildlife and safety, and trails in the area. To the right of the bulletin board is the Kestner Homestead Trailhead. At the far right of the parking lot near the top of the loop, a branch of the sidewalk turns left and heads up a slight rise to an accessible restroom building. The women’s room is on the left and the men’s room is on the right. A trash receptacle sits in front of the restroom. The sidewalk continues around the loop to the right toward the Ranger Station. The brown L-shaped building has a wooden shingled roof with an A-shaped peak covering the entranceway. The National Park Service arrowhead logo is on the front of the building. Information about the park is available on each side of the door. Inside the Ranger Station are exhibits about the people who once lived in the area and the natural world in the Quinault rainforest. To the right of the Ranger Station is a meadow surrounded by forest.
